Whether you want to change the fabric of an existing design, have a pattern made to your exact custom measurements or create something completely unique, Nether Atelier makes it happen.

Using decades of design, pattern cutting and stitching experience, Tilly will bring your wildest ideas to life. Or if you're looking to have something designed especially for you, Tilly can guide you through her wealth of design knowledge and create something you'll treasure forever.

FAQS

It all starts with a consultation, usually by email, but this can be arranged to take place at the studio on request. You and Tilly will discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes, requirements and limitations.

After this, you will be sent designs, fabric and trim swatches if appropriate and also a preliminary quote.

Quotes include a toile sample garment and pattern alterations where needed. If you are having custom patterns created the quote also includes keeping those patterns on file for future projects.

Customers will receive guidance on how to take their own measurements and fit sessions can be arranged in person at our London studio too.

At a minimum the Atelier process take 8 weeks from start to finish.

It is recommended to contact us as early as possible before a custom piece is needed to allow for postage delays, additional fittings and other circumstances out of our control.

Tilly can only work on one or two Atelier orders at a time and so you may have to wait a month or two for your order to be accepted.

The cost depends on the amount of work required and materials used.

Pattern alterations are charged at a flat rate of £25 per garment.

All materials are charged at cost.

Absolutely! Tilly is happy to consult via e-mail or video chat if you are unable to come to London, UK. It is possible to complete complex orders remotely and does not affect the process at all.
